European investors flock to $1.5bn US mezzanine fund

The Jordan Company, a US private equity house, has stopped fundraising on its new Resolute fund having accepted commitments worth $1.5bn (€1.5bn) from investors from Europe as well as the US in just six months.

The move, despite the tough environment for fundraising, reflects the growing popularity of mezzanine. Atlantic-Pacific Capital was the placement agent.
