The European Fund and Asset Management Association, the trade body representing the bloc's €25tn funds industry, has named senior lobbyist Tanguy van de Werve as its new director general.
Van de Werve will take on his new position as the voice of the European asset management industry for international policy makers, regulators and industry stakeholders, on January 1. He will also have responsibility for implementing Efama's strategic agenda, according to a statement from the trade body.
