The number of dollar millionaires in the eurozone jumped last year as the euro rose against the US currency, while a weakened pound hit wealth in the UK, Credit Suisse's latest wealth report shows.
Total global wealth increased by 6.4% to $280tn in the 12 months to mid-2017, according to the bank's research institute's Global Wealth Report. The rise, which was the biggest since 2011, was driven by equity market gains and increases in non-financial assets, the report said.
