Evelyn Partners’ private equity backers are preparing to put the UK wealth manager up for sale within months, in what would be the latest mega M&A deal to hit the sector.

Permira and Warburg Pincus are targeting possible suitors, including NatWest and Royal Bank of Canada, as well as other private equity firms and US wealth managers keen to expand in the UK, the Financial Times reported.
