Even Nasdaq feels heat wave with trading glitch

Not even the high-tech Nasdaq stock market was ready for near-100 degree-temperatures in New York.

About 400 thinly traded Nasdaq stocks were halted for some 15 minutes Monday morning because of overheating at a data center in the Northeast, according to spokeswoman Bethany Sherman. The affected stocks were those that hadn't yet begun to trade.
