Evercore goes on dealmaker hiring spree as M&A fees hit new high

Boutique investment bank Evercore Partners is “actively investing” in senior bankers after a record first quarter amid an M&A boom.

The investment bank booked $624.5m in advisory fees in the first three months of this year, a new high for the firm and an increase of 22% on the prior year, it said in a statement.
