US advisory firm Evercore Partners has for the second time this summer hired private equity secondaries market advisers from UBS.

US-based Evercore has hired at least five professionals from UBS' Private Funds Group in London and New York, who will join its newly established Private Capital Advisory unit focused on private equity secondaries transactions, according to three people familiar with the situation. The team will manage trades of second hand interests in global private equity funds.
