Peter Everington, a former director of fund management company Regent Pacific, will attempt to place two independent directors on the board of the Hong Kong-listed company at its annual meeting next month.

He has built up his stake in the firm he once worked for to 9% of the company. Everington says he expects the meeting, which takes place in the Conrad Hotel in Hong Kong, to be lively.
