The government has handed out contracts to the private sector to develop passports to show people’s Covid-19 status to allow them to enter pubs, restaurants and workplaces.

The Daily Mail reported that two companies had been awarded contracts to begin working on apps that would allow people to prove they did not have Covid-19.
