Evolution Beeson Gregory, the investment banking boutique owned by the Evolution Group, has hired a new head of corporate finance from Collins Stewart. The move comes as smaller players battle each other for the most talented staff.

Steve Roberts has joined Evolution after four years at Collins Stewart, before which he worked at Charterhouse Securities and HSBC.
