Solengo Capital Advisors, the hedge fund launched by the trader Brian Hunter, whose $6.5bn (€4.9bn) losses in natural gas futures triggered the collapse of Amaranth Advisors, has sued a US-based blog for infringement of copyright after it published the new firm's prospectus.

Solengo Capital alleges that DealBreaker, a US blog, posted the fund's prospectus on its website on March 28, according to a complaint filed on Sunday at the US District Court, Southern District of New York.
