Ex-Barclays trader banned for life after Euribor conviction

Ex-Barclays trader Colin Bermingham has been banned from financial services for life after being convicted in 2019 of rigging the Euribor benchmark.

The Financial Conduct Authority said that in light of his conviction, Bermingham was not a “fit and proper person” to work in the sector.
