Ex-Bush adviser to re-join Goldman Sachs

Stephen Friedman, who recently resigned as a senior economic adviser to President Bush, has been nominated for re-election to the board at Goldman Sachs, where he previously worked for almost 30 years.

Friedman resigned from the Goldman Sachs board in 2002 to take up his role as director of the White House national economic council and assistant to the president for economic policy.
