A former UBS AG institutional client manager was sentenced to more than six years in prison after pleading guilty in an insider-trading case that revolved around nonpublic information from Morgan Stanley and UBS.
U.S. District Judge Deborah A. Batts sentenced Mitchel S. Guttenberg to 78 months in prison on four counts of securities fraud and 60 months on a count of conspiracy and another securities-fraud count. The sentences will run concurrently. The judge also ordered Mr. Guttenberg, 43 years old, to forfeit $15.8 million.
