‘I saw the south tower collapse with my own eyes,’ former banker Steve Keller said in a LinkedIn post

This week marks the 20th anniversary of the 11 September attacks, when terrorists flew two passenger planes into the World Trade Centre's Twin Towers causing almost 3,000 deaths, thousands of injuries.

On the eve of the 20th anniversary of the 11 September terrorist attacks, former banker Steve Keller, who lived in New York City at the time, remembered the morning he will “never forget” when he landed at JFK International Airport from Frankfurt, returning early from a family holiday.

“That Tuesday was a perfectly beautiful, early Fall day,” wrote Keller, who was working at Credit Suisse at the time, in a LinkedIn post on 9 September.
