The London Metal Exchange has appointed Robert Arbuthnott as the group’s new chief financial and administrative officer.

Arbuthnott was most recently head of group finance at Credit Suisse, a position he held for seven years. Prior to that, he was the Emea chief financial officer of the Swiss investment bank.
