Ex-CSFB specialist to run Moody's study on rating changes

Andrew Carron, a consultant who previously worked for Credit Suisse First Boston, is to run an independent study comparing rating agencies' methodology, initiated by Moody's Investors Service.

Moody's has hired National Economic Research Associates (Nera), the international consulting firm at which Carron is a senior vice president, to conduct the study, which will compare the rating practises of different agencies in the structured finance sector.
