Craig Brown, former director of institutional business of Deutsche Asset Management, has resurfaced at HSBC Asset Management, where he will head distribution to consultants, multi-managers and private banks.

Brown was one of more than a dozen executives to leave Deutsche last year as it suffered poor performance and client defections.
