Ex-Doughty dealmaker to run alternatives for UK pensions lifeboat

A former veteran private equity investor at Doughty Hanson has joined the lifeboat for troubled UK pensions to manage investments in alternative asset classes.

Tim Robson joined the Pension Protection Fund at the end of April as head of alternatives, a spokesman for the PPF confirmed.
