Stephen Howard, the former global head of financial institutions at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, has resurfaced at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, to head European investment banking for the US group based in London.

Keefe, Bruyette specialises in financial services and expanded European operations in April hiring 17 people from Fox, Pitt-Kelton, the investment bank owned by Swiss Re, which focuses on the same sector.
