Ex-England rugby captain takes top role at RBC treasury unit

The Canadian bank has been adding regional client leaders to the $3tn-plus division in recent months

The Royal Bank of Canada has appointed a former captain of the England rugby union team to a senior London role in a business that oversees more than $3tn in client assets.

Pat Sanderson has been hired from JPMorgan to lead global client coverage at RBC's investor and treasury services division in the UK, according to a statement.
