One of Goldman Sachs' most senior European bankers has joined a top London-based technology venture capitalist firm as a partner just under a year after leaving the US bank.

Tim Bunting, the former vice-chairman of Goldman Sachs' European business and joint head of its global equity capital markets division, has joined venture capitalist firm Balderton Capital, formerly known as Benchmark Capital Europe.
