Michael Grindfors, formerly a managing director in the Nordic investment banking team at Goldman Sachs in London, has joined Jay Alix & Associates, the US corporate turnarounds and restructuring firm.

Grindfors' time at Goldman Sachs was brief. He left last summer after working for less than six months on mergers and acquisitions deals from the bank's London office.
