An ex-junior accountant at KPMG has escaped a major fine and ban for his role in a plot to mislead inspectors looking into the firm’s Carillion audit in 2018.

Pratik Paw was facing a four-year exclusion from the profession and a £50,000 fine for his part in the cover up.
