David Rough, the former director of investments at Legal & General (L&G) and a well-known professional in the UK fund management industry, is to serve as an independent advisor to the largest local government pension scheme in London.

Rough has been recruited by the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA), which runs assets of more than £3bn (€4.9bn), to provide complimentary advice on investments.
