Ex-LME chief takes Kazakhmys board role

The former chief executive of the London Metal Exchange is joining the board of Kazakhmys, the £5.4bn (€8bn) copper mining group that was the first Kazakh company to list in London.

Kazakhmys, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in a deal raising £661m in October last year, said today Simon Heale will join its board as a non-executive director from January.
