Morley Fund Management, one of the largest asset managers in Europe, has appointed a former McKinsey & Co consultant as head of equities.

Tim Thomas will join Morley, a subsidiary of UK insurance company Aviva, in September when chief investment officer Katherine Garrett-Cox returns from maternity leave.
