The woman previously in charge of giving financial services firms the regulatory green light to operate in the UK has joined the board of a fintech firm aiming to help institutions spot dodgy behaviour.

Victoria Raffé, the former director of authorisation at the Financial Conduct Authority, has been named a non-executive director at Sybenetix, the firm said in a statement.
