The investment adviser to a property trust specialising in supermarkets has hired the former chief executive of Sainsbury’s, the retailer, to help it with dealmaking.

Supermarket Income Reit’s investment adviser, Atrato Capital, has appointed Justin King as a senior adviser, the real estate investment trust said in a notice to the London Stock Exchange.
