EO the online share distribution platform, has added more firepower to its board with the appointment of Ron Freeman, the former vice-chairman of Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, as a non-executive director.

Freeman spent 21 years at Salomon Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney, having started his career at the firm in 1973. In his time with the firm he held senior posts such as head of project finance, head of the M&A division, and head of international investment banking.
