Ex-Savills chief joins RBS to run toxic real estate unit

Seasoned troubleshooter Aubrey Adams will lead debt recovery from property assets at the bank’s restructuring group

Royal Bank of Scotland's unit that manages its toxic real estate has hired a seasoned troubleshooter, who most recently turned around the fortunes of one of Britain’s most successful real estate agencies.

Aubrey Adams, former chief executive of Savills, has been named as the bank's head of property within its global restructuring group. He will start from November 1.
