A former stock trader at Schroders has been jailed for two years after pleading guilty to insider trading.

Damian Clarke, who worked at Schroders Investment Management between 2000 and 2013, first as an assistant fund manager and from 2006 as an equities trader, pleaded guilty to nine counts of insider dealing, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority said in a statement on June 13.
