The Nordic Venture Network (NVN), an alliance of approximately 15 private equity companies based in the Nordic region, has appointed Carl Bildt, a former prime minister of Swedish, as its new chairman.

The network, which includes leading Nordic venture capital companies such as Sweden's Ledstiernan and Finland's Eqvitec Partners, made the appointment at its most recent meeting, which was held in Helsinki in late April.
