Former MP Charlie Elphicke has been jailed for two years for sexually assaulting two women.

The ex-Conservative MP for Dover denied the charges but was found guilty of three counts of sexual assault against two women after a trial at Southwark Crown Court. Two counts were in relation to a parliamentary worker in 2016, and one count was in relation to a woman employed as a nanny at his family’s London home in 2007.
