The former head of European equity derivatives trading at Credit Suisse, who mysteriously resigned in May barely a month after joining the bank, is facing fraud charges relating to an alleged examination cheating conspiracy, it has emerged.
Jerome Drean, who joined Credit Suisse from Bank of America on April 17 only to leave on May 21, according to the Financial Services Authority's register, appeared in York Crown Court on Monday together with fellow defendant Elnar Askerov to face charges over alleged fraud, according to the Yorkshire Post.
