Exodus of senior fund managers hits industry

An exodus of senior managers from the European fund management industry is testing the strength of the industry at a time of highly volatile stock market conditions.

Jim Horsborough, the head of UK institutional business at Schroder Investment Managers, was the latest to resign last week. His departure follows that of Nicola Ralston, who left Schroder as global head of investment strategy for family reasons.
