The online version of the Thomson Extel Survey, which ranks analyst research, is now publishing comparative ratings for quoted companies' investor relations (IR) performance.

The ratings are based on the responses of over 750 sell-side investment analysts from more than 50 brokerage firms, such as Deutsche Bank, UBS Warburg, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse First Boston and Merrill Lynch.
