Climate activists Extinction Rebellion smashed windows at HSBC’s Canary Wharf headquarters in an attempt to draw attention to the sector’s role in the climate crisis.

The protest comes as Extinction Rebellion have been targeting a number of financial institutions over the last month as part of what it calls its “Money Rebellion”.
