More diverse but just as smart: EY hails new recruitment policy

Almost one in five people joining accounting and audit firm EY would not have made it through its previous annual hiring process according to its latest figures that demonstrate the impact of its new blind recruitment policy.

Eighteen percent of the 381 people who joined its financial services unit, based in London and UK regional offices in September, were hired because the firm replaced its old system that focused primarily on academic achievement in August 2015.
