EY has ‘no plans’ to cut UK jobs after US firm wields the axe

EY UK said it has no plans to cut jobs after the firm's US arm announced it was cutting 3,000 members of staff.

The US firm said on 17 April that it would cut approximately 3,000 roles, blaming economic conditions, strong employee retention rates and overcapacity in parts of its business.
