F&C Asset Management is set to open an office in Geneva by the end of this year, and has named a vice-president at Morgan Stanley Investment Management as head of Switzerland and Austria.

Christian Zeitler, a former vice-president for German, Austrian and Swiss institutional clients at Morgan Stanley, will join F&C in October. He has worked at Morgan Stanley since 2004.
