Factset Research Systems, the data integration specialist, has posted significant gains despite widespread cost cutting across the financial services industry.

Quarterly results show a rise of 17.3% in revenue to just over $50m (€56.5m) and an increase of 20% in operating income to $15m for the Connecticut-based supplier of online financial and economic information.
