Fairfax, a two-year-old UK investment banking boutique, has recruited three executives from rival Numis as part of plans to build its new natural resources team.

John Meyer joins Fairfax as head of its resources team. He has held the same position at Numis since 2002. He is joined by Marc Elliott, a metals and mining analyst who covered small and mid-cap mining companies at Numis for two years, and Elizabeth O'Rourke, an equity analyst covering UK metals and mining at Numis.
