Christine Farquhar has agreed to settle her case for sexual discrimination against her former employer Insight Investment, which had been due to come before an employment tribunal this week.

Farquhar is currently head of fixed income at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. She was previously head of fixed income at Insight, but lost out in a power battle with Abdallah Nauphal in December in 2002, following the firm's purchase of his firm Rothschild Asset Management. Several other Insight employees were offered redundancy packages, but Farquhar was offered a position elsewhere in the firm, which she declined.
