Farringdon’s Crossrail station to get £120m office project

London-listed developer plans 90,000 sq ft building above one of the country’s busiest stations

Farringdon’s Crossrail station to get £120m office project

Plans are underway for a £120m office development above the Crossrail train station at Farringdon, which is expected to become one of the busiest in the UK once the new line opens later this year.

The six-storey, 90,000 square foot building will comprise mostly office space, but also contain a retail and restaurant unit above the eastern entrance to the Crossrail station, which sits to the east of Smithfield Market. A roof terrace will look out towards St. Paul’s Cathedral.
