A former trader at UK asset manager Schroders, who was jailed last year for insider dealing, has been banned from working in finance by the City's regulator.

In a final notice published yesterday, the Financial Conduct Authority said that Damian Clarke is prohibited from "performing any function in relation to any regulated activity carried on by any authorised person, exempt person or exempt professional firm".
