The head of the UK’s financial regulator has backed calls by Mark Carney for a review of the cap on banker bonuses after Britain leaves the European Union.

In an exclusive interview with Financial News, Andrew Bailey, the chief executive of the FCA, said he and the Bank of England governor “both agree” that the bonus cap is unnecessary and should be removed.
