FCA chief Bailey ‘ready to engage’ EU regulators over Brexit plans

European regulators must start collaborating with UK counterparts now to avoid a harsh and sudden Brexit shock to financial services, the chief executive of the UK's markets watchdog has warned.

Speaking at the launch of the Financial Conduct Authority's business plan for the next 12 months on Monday, Andrew Bailey said it was important that the FCA has "regulatory engagement now" from its opposite numbers in the EU.
