The Financial Conduct Authority has granted fund groups a short-term reprieve from new ESG marketing rules, as it pushes back the deadline for firms to update their documentation to next year.

The watchdog said it would grant “limited temporary flexibility” until 5pm on 2 April 2025 for asset managers struggling to comply with its “naming and marketing” rules.
