FCA employees fear bonus cuts could be worse than predicted

Fears are growing that few employees will actually meet the criteria for an annual bonus payment

Concerns are mounting amongst Financial Conduct Authority staff that the vast majority of the regulator's workforce will see their pay cut under plans to limit annual bonus payments to its top performers.

Only 7% of the watchdog's roughly 4,000 employees were ranked as staff with the highest scores in each of the three years to 2020, according to a Freedom of Information Act request seen by Financial News.
